About Resomix // Built in Thessaloniki

A sonic intelligence platform for those who feel the music.

Resomix helps people discover sonically related tracks, understand one recording in greater detail and make authorised catalogues searchable through sound.

One proprietary engine, PYXIS-1, powers three distinct products built around the recording itself.

01 // Our mission

Build tools that listen to the recording itself.

The ability to tell a story through sound is a deeply human trait. Woven into the history of our species, music connects people and intensifies emotion in ways few other art forms can.

With Resomix, we are building a platform that works beyond tags, popularity signals and static metadata. It starts from the audio recording and uses measurable sonic characteristics to support discovery and understanding.

By analysing structure, harmony, rhythm, timbre, spectral character and energy, Resomix opens three distinct routes: find sonically related tracks, examine one recording in greater detail, or make an authorised catalogue searchable by sound.

Metadata tells us what a recording is called. Audio analysis gives us another way to understand how it moves, feels and relates to other recordings.

02 // Why Resomix exists

Music discovery should go deeper than tags and trends.

Resomix began with a frustration familiar to DJs, curators and music professionals: spending hours moving through stores, platforms and catalogues to find the recording that fits a particular moment.

PYXIS-1, our proprietary audio-analysis and similarity engine, preprocesses recordings and extracts more than 70 measurable characteristics across rhythm, harmony, timbre, structure, spectral profile and energy.

It creates a sonic profile that can be read through Track Intelligence or compared with recordings already processed into an applicable index. Similarity results are ranked automatically according to the closest measured sonic relationships.

PYXIS-1 turns measurable audio characteristics into a sonic profile that can be examined or compared.

03 // How Resomix grew

One human problem. Three distinct ways to work with sound.

The first question was simple: if one track feels right, what should come next? Building that discovery engine revealed two further needs: understanding the recording in greater detail and bringing the same sound-first search into authorised catalogues.

What should I hear next?

Sonic Discovery

Start with one known track or upload a reference. PYXIS-1 compares its sonic profile with a pre-analysed index and returns the closest matches as an automatically ranked Sonic Discovery playlist.

Process authorised catalogue recordings into a private, partner-scoped sonic index. Use one reference to retrieve the closest recordings from that catalogue, with Track Intelligence available separately when deeper examination is needed.

04 // Our vision

Make sound itself a route into discovery.

We want to make analysing and discovering music faster and more useful. We imagine a world where a recording’s visibility is not determined only by chart position, marketing budget, recency or the accuracy of its tags.

Resomix builds a sonic profile from measurable characteristics and uses it to reveal relationships that metadata alone may not show. The aim is not to replace listening, taste or professional judgement. It is to help them travel further.

The recording deserves another way to be found.

Relevance should not disappear with release date. A recording can return to view when its measured sonic relationship to a reference is strong.

05 // What makes Resomix different

Measurable sound. Clear outputs. Human judgement.

Resomix combines proprietary processing and ranking with established audio-analysis tools to create a practical sonic profile for each recording.

01

Audio-derived evidence

PYXIS-1 works from the recording, extracting more than 70 measurable characteristics across verified sonic dimensions.

02

Read or compare

A sonic profile can support a readable Track Intelligence view or be compared with an applicable pre-analysed index. These are distinct workflows.

03

Results in seconds

Existing indexed references return faster. Uploaded references take longer because they must first be processed. Similarity results are ranked automatically.

04

Human decision

Resomix surfaces evidence and candidates. DJs, producers, curators and catalogue teams make the final call.

Every returned result can become a new starting point after the playlist has been delivered, allowing a listener to follow a new sonic direction without changing how the original ranking was created.

06 // Beyond trends

Relevance should not expire with release date.

Every catalogue has a quieter layer of tracks that did not reach the charts, albums that fell through algorithmic cracks and artists whose work sits outside the spotlight.

Resomix can bring a recording back into view when it is sonically relevant to a reference. It does not predict commercial success or guarantee exposure. It creates another evidence-based route into discovery.

07 // What we stand for

Technology should expand human listening, not pretend to replace it.

01

The art of personal curation

You still make the call. Resomix helps you get there faster by surfacing candidates and evidence that support deeper listening.

02

Another route for less-visible music

Sound-first retrieval can give older and lower-exposure recordings another chance to surface when they are relevant to a reference.

03

Clear boundaries

Temporary user references and partner catalogue assets follow separate handling paths. Each partner catalogue and sonic index remains inside its authorised scope.

04

Precision over volume

Resomix returns ranked results and lets the user choose the available result depth. More results are not automatically better results.

09 // For rights holders & partners

Make an authorised catalogue searchable through sonic relationships.

Partners provide agreed audio and metadata for processing. Resomix creates a private, partner-scoped sonic index that can return ranked catalogue results or support separate track-level intelligence through a guided pilot and scoped integration.

Partners retain their rights, branding, storefront, transaction flow and customer relationship. Resomix does not generate derivative audio, does not use partner content to train or fine-tune its systems, and does not place one partner’s catalogue inside another partner’s index.

The public beta and every partner evaluation must use audio that Resomix is authorised to process.

10 // The team

Built by people who have spent years searching for the right track.

Resomix was born from a frustration familiar to many music professionals: spending hours exploring platforms and catalogues to find the music needed for a project or DJ set.

We are a small team of music-industry professionals and signal-processing engineers based in Thessaloniki, Greece, building the discovery and intelligence tools we wished existed.

11 // From the founder

“I discovered electronic music through Italian progressive house radio in the late 1990s. Two decades of DJing and producing taught me one thing: finding the right track is the hardest part of the creative process.

Resomix is the tool I needed and could not find: built on signal processing, not hype. After creating our discovery engine, I realised people across the music sector could benefit from the same foundation, not only DJs but also producers, supervisors, publishers and catalogue owners. Resomix is designed to show connections and enhance human curation across the industry.”
